Rain on your wedding day is a Good Omen!

In some cultures rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, symbolizing fertility and cleansing. Rain certainly did'nt dampen the mood on Sunday 1st October when I officiated at the wedding of Lydia and Alex.

Another intimate gathering of family and friends to witness the nuptials, and a hasty retreat to a covered section of the backyard venue as the rain began to fall. It was a lovely blessing for the married couple.
